Episode Synopsis "We aRh here for you EP1: Homesick? Or sick of home? Hall life and family pressures"
For the past 20 years, most of the RHesidents have been living with their family every single day of their lives, eating, socializing and sleeping under the same roof. However, when University days arrive and hall residents start having a new residence on campus, it becomes a norm that they spend less time with their family, as they are living at different places. Most return on the weekend for a short visit, whereas some only return once or twice a month. International students only get to return on the winter or summer breaks, making it even rare for them to meet their families. With lesser interactions with our families while being burnt out by commitments, we form new identities and circle of friends and support. Eventually, we feel like we have drifted from our family, resulting in a form of pressure that arises from the lack of time spent with our family.
