Welcome back to another episode of The Kaizen Code Podcast In today's episode, we chatted to Damian Browne, an ex professional rugby union player turned extreme adventurer. Since his retirement from a 16 year professional rugby career, Damian has become one of the World's foremost extreme adventurers; undertaking some of the most demanding physical and mental challenges on the planet, including the Marathon De sabes, a 257km ultra marathon in the Sahara desert, rowing solo and unsupported, 5000km across the Atlantic Ocean from New York to Galway and has currently climbed 5 of the 7 highest Summits in the world. Damian walked us through what life looked like growing up in Galway and how he got into rugby, what the catalyst for change was for him that has shape the man he is today and ultimately why he has decided to pursue the challenges he has over the last number of years. This is one that will live long in the memories of myself and paddy as Damian's story is one that is hugely inspiring as he highlights what we are all capable of if we are willing to confront challenege.
