On this episode, hosts (Zuki and Amaka) interviewed Emmanuel, a young Gen Z immigrant who shared his personal story of migrating to the US from Nigeria at age 18. He talked about his struggles starting with meeting people with different accents and having troubles being understood because of his accent. He talked about how he overcame homesickness by being more sociable and interacting with people from differ backgrounds. Being casually told by a friend he could have ADHD due to his inability to sit still and focus on a task, he began to look for ways to manage his ADHD which also helped him graduate from such a difficult program as Computer Science.
