In this episode, we chat about why many African women are choosing to be single moms due to bad/abusive marriages. The rise of single motherhood in many African households is at an all time high. We talk about factors that contribute to marriages breaking apart from divorce and the women choosing to parent their children themselves. Some of the factors we identified were infidelity, abuse, lies, lack of intimacy, etc. We talked about baby mamas and why baby mamas are different from single moms, they are not the same thing. We also talked briefly about side chicks and the havoc they cause to happy marriages e.g. the case of Queen May, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin. Judy inserted herself into a once happy marriage and broke it, now she is paying for her actions as Yul has abandoned her and her children making her single mom. Side chicks need to stay away from married men. Also we talked about why abusive men must seek therapy and counseling to heal and become better husbands to their wives & families.
