Memory Verse: ‭‭ "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you" - Isaiah 60:2 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ Exodus 10:22‭-‬23 NKJV 22. So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23. They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. INSPIRATION: There's something about the glorious manifestation of light in our lives that cannot be hidden. The higher the intensity, the greater its effect and manifest results. When you access and carry this light, you become a reference point to others and your level of impact won't be difficult to notice. God distinguished between the Israelites and Egyptian with light. The part where Israel dwelt had light but darkness was on all the other parts of Egypt. As children of light, we should never walk in darkness because that's not part of God's original design for us. Whilst there was darkness on the ungodly Egypt for three days, paralysing activities, Israel went about her business because they had light. It underscores the point that the absence of light can put a stop to all forms of activities in our lives. Isaiah tells us that while the world suffers gross darkness, the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you (Isa. 60:2). When this happens, then and only then, "The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising" (Isa 60:3). If you have no light to manifest, there's nothing in you to attract the Gentiles and kings to you. Invariably, it is not a matter of you declaring it but you living by God's principles that generate this light that attracts men and nobility unto you. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Develop genuine intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Expose yourself to the light of God's Word and Spirit. Be filled with light. Hunger for a discerning Spirit, a seeing eye, a hearing ear and a mind flooded with light. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to walk in the light of your word, flood my life with your light and revelation. Fill me daily with the right knowledge, revelational insight and spirit-inspired light to address the issues of my life according to Your will, in Jesus name.
