Episode Synopsis

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Wednesday, November 26, 2025 Topic: RENEWED HOPE (Part 2)! Memory Verse: "‭‭The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him" - Lamentations 3:24 KJV Bible Text: Job 14:7 KJV 7. For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. INSPIRATION: Oftentimes, our tendency is to think that once a tree had been cut down, it marks its end. Whilst many trees  have died following this process, several others have survived, budded and blossomed. It is this latter category that should concern you. Do not rule yourself out yet just because you hit a rough patch in life; do not think that blow life dealt you is fatal. It ain't matter how long your stay in that terrible situation might have been, Job declares eloquently, "There's hope!" Hope for a bounce back; hope for a glorious ending; hope that keeps your dreams alive in spite of the enemy's worst assault on your person. Hope stirs up faith on your inside that defies logic. Hope acts like a catalyst and triggers positive reactions that won't take a no for an answer. Hope, like faith, would make you not to consider the deadness of your reality (Rom. 4: 19). Hope is stronger than your reality. When hope is mixed with faith, nothing is impossible with you. Hope speaks the language of faith, contrary to the popular opinion of men. It builds confidence in you that all will be well again and that you'd spring up new leaves and branches (Job 14:7-9). Hope would always factor God into the equation of your life, knowing God cannot and will not fail. Therefore, it is easy and safer to hope on Him (Lam. 3:24). TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Refuse to snooze on your hope. Resolve to put absolute confidence in God and stay positively hopeful in spite of your reality. PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for being my portion as it is written; my confidence level in You rises to the point of believing. My hope in You and in the possibilities that abound for my taking is renewed daily, for I know You'd make all things good in Your time. Thank you, Father, in Jesus name.
