And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. INSPIRATION: Sometimes, some ugly situations are waiting for your action, which could either be an approval for it to thrive or a disapproval for it to disappear. You've to consciously stop reinforcing negative stereotypes or failure; you need to intentionally stop giving bad situations the wings to fly. Enough of being comfortable with situations you should be challenging and changing. Jesus taught His disciples, "...whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ ...he will have whatever he says" (Mark‬ ‭11:23‬). In other words, mountains are supposed to be spoken to! What have you been doing to your own mountains? Jeremiah gives us an insight into what we should be doing to our mountains: "‭‭Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant" (Jere. ‭1:9‭-‬10‬). Your assignment over your mountains is to uproot, tear down, destroy, and overthrow them. You can't have your job description laid out for you and fail in its delivery. That shouldn't be. Never! If you do, it would amount to incompetence and negligence, for which Paul counsels, "Do not be lazy, but always work hard" (Rom. 12:11). TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Stay disciplined to your assignment: speak to your mountains, change your situation. Create your ideal reality. Everything you need to accomplish this is within you, and your mouth is a great asset in this regard. Once you accept defeat, it becomes easy to lose. PRAYER: O Lord, I stand on your authority vested in me and command my mountains to be removed. I refuse to allow anything that doesn't glorify You or advance my cause in life to reign within my territory, in Jesus name.
