Episode Synopsis "Dreaming of the future to change the present: Why it's good to have goals and aspirations."
In this episode, I try and address the question of why it is important to dream about our best possible futures, and set goals that will help us reach them, even if chances are we will never get exactly what we want. I talk a little bit about the role of dopaminergic activation in increasing motivation and alleviating pain, and how this is related to goal setting. Hope you find this helpful.
