Episode Synopsis "8. 11 Tips For Building Lean Muscle (Without Adding Fat)"
If you're looking to build some lean mass this without adding body fat this is a must. I go through 11 tips that will help you get the most out of your gaining phase. 1. Train to technical failure. 2. Protein ASAP after you train. 3. Slight surplus, the days of dirty bulks are gone. 4. Build cals up over time - easier on digestive system, metabolism adaptations as well as physical adaptations. 5. Structured training for 6-12 week cycles - focusing on progressive overload. 6. Train hard - recover harder. Don’t overdo it in a week. 7. Dedicate 6 months to this phase minimum. 8. Take ‘Bulking Breaks’ - 1 week where you eat less to help rebalance hunger hormones (protein protein protein). 9. Sleep, 7-8 hours per night so important for muscle growth. 10. Casein protein at night. 11. Spread meals across the day (e.g. 3 meals, 3 snacks - protein with each)
