Today on episode 7 of The Socialista Podcast, I sit down with Jean Munson, the Founder of Plot Twist Publishing. Jean and I originally met at the Las Vegas Women's March Anniversary rally, her art was the chosen t-shirt design for the official Las Vegas Women's March merch. Jean was born and raised in Guam, she talks about the familial and societal expectations a woman has and how not fitting into the mold inevitably pushed her to persevere and create the life she wanted. We talk everything from learning about feminism, the reluctance she felt from peers, and how she gave herself a name in the comics world. Jean is a prime example of a pioneer!
