Memory Verse: "But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see" - 2 Corinthians 3:16 TPT Bible Text: Isaiah 25:7 AMP 7. And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples, and the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations. INSPIRATION: One aim of keeping you in obscurity is to see that your star gets dim, your glory lacks the attraction it deserves, so the destinies tied to yours would suffer. Since every great destiny carries a star, Satan would fight so hard to stop your shine. He tried with the life of Moses when Pharaoh ordered the killing of all male infants born to the Israelites. Same way Herod sought the life of Jesus at birth. His plan was to kill them so as to leave the generations they came to deliver in obscurity. As a deliverer of your generation, the enemy would come at you in full force and at all costs. His efforts, notwithstanding, Jesus's star had to attract wise men, men of means when other stars existed. We must realise that Satan would never come at you with so much force if there're no great destinies tied to yours. If the stakes are so high like it was with Moses and Jesus, he would do everything to ensure your star never shines. In other words, your battles, most times, are not about you but the destinies that are tied to your purpose. This is why you must never allow anything to obscure your light from shining. Never! In Matthew 26: 31, Jesus reechoes the thoughts of Zachariah, "Strike the shepherd, the sheep will scatter" (Zach. 13: 7). When the enemy comes hard after the shepherd, it is about the destinies that could have been shaped, delivered and helped through him. Let this consciousness influence how you allow yourself shine or be obscured. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Insist that because of the destinies tied to your purpose, your life will not be obscured in any form. Fight to remain shining and relevant to your world and assignment. PRAYER: O Lord, please make my star to keep shining, and help me to steadfastly remain positively relevant to the cause of my life, and to all the destinies tied to that cause, in Jesus name.
