INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Wednesday, January 1, 2025 Topic: ALL THINGS ARE NEW! Bible Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17 TPT; Genesis 1:1 NKJV 2 Corinthians 5:17 TPT 17. ...All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.   Genesis 1:1 NKJV 1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. INSPIRATION: As we welcome the gift of a new year, the tendency to approach it with an attitude of mixed feelings, anxiety, ingratitude, levity and gloom, is very high for people who think they didn't end the previous year on a high note. Regardless of how yours was or how you perceived it to be, God is starting everyone on a fresh note. All things are new: new hopes are rising, new dreams, new goals, new plans, new ways of thinking and acting so as to attain new heights. All that is related to the old order is gone, vanished into oblivion. God remembers them no more, so you shouldn't either. God is set to do new things in your life (Isa. 43: 18 - 19). New pathways are springing up, new experiences and new outcomes. Very new results that would make the former look like a child's play. Yes, it's our year of God's glory. The manifestations would overwhelm you. Miracles, supernaturally inspired and orchestrated would happen to you and for you. Albeit, when we talk about miracles, it is not for you to sit down, fold your arms and do nothing. God gives us a foresight at the beginning: He created (Gen. 1: 1)! Glory! Hallelujah!! Whilst all things are new, the responsibility is on you to create outcomes that support your envisaged new experiences. Your newness shouldn't be a palace of emptiness. Create ways to forge ahead and turn the deficits of last year around; create ways to improve yourself and obtain better results; activate your creative instinct and do not allow your newness to be without form or darkness to thrive (Gen. 1: 2). Manifesting God's glory is not necessarily in the demonstration of power or anointing but in the production of results that align and resonate with His purposes. It is your ability to leverage opportunities to create inspired outcomes that point to His sovereignty. It is the deployment of God's resources to create outcomes that point others to you having the nature of God. Oh! This year, you'll manifest God's glory in all spheres of your life, you'll shift gears and deliver results even in new fields because of the anointing for newness! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Newness gives a feeling of relaxation but what's upon you doesn't call for relaxation. Get to work already! PRAYER: Oh Lord, I receive grace for new experiences. I lay behind me the results of yesterday and press towards a higher mark and calling. I'm creatively endowed to make the most of every situation to get positive results. Nothing limits me; my mind flourishes in creatively new ways and I walk in the path that leads to new and more glorious outcomes, in Jesus name.
