Most coaches program with percentages. On any given day I am going to do X amount of reps at this % of my 1RM. I don't like this, I don't do this. It isn't wrong, but I believe the method suggested here will bring safer long term strength gains. Safer gains equal consistency. Consistency plus effort equals results.
