He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai in the 2019-20 season against Tamil Nadu with players like Suryakumar Yadav, Aditya Tare, Siddhesh Lad, Sarfaraz Khan in the Mumbai team. His Ranji call was a result of his exceptional performance in the U-23 Col. CK Nayudu Trophy 2019-20 where he scored 600+ runs with a batting average of over 200. In this episode, we talked about his journey from a young kid who played cricket for fun to becoming a First Class cricketer. We talked about the importance of hard work and self-belief in anyone's journey. We talked about the advantage that Mumbai cricketers have other players from other states. We also talked about the historic run chase by Mumbai against UP in the Ranji Trophy where Sarfaraz Khan scored an unbeaten 301 while chasing a mammoth total of 625 runs.
