Starting a PT podcast is something that I said I was going to start 18 months or so ago but I never got round to doing it. With us being in lockdown right now, I have no excuse. It's the perfect time. I had no doubt in my mind about who I would like to do the first episode with. Tom is not only my client but my best mate. We have been best mates for about 12 years now and we have never ever had an argument or even a disagreement, really. We share the same hobbies, have the same interests, the same sense of humour but most importantly, same drive in our jobs. Tom works in the hospitality business which means late nights, take away's, nights out after work etc... It takes it's toll without you realising. It got to the point where Tom decided enough was enough after putting on weight and playing football and seeing what his current fitness level was like. The last 9 months of training Tom have been the best of my PT career so far. I've never laughed so much but I've also never seen someone so driven and ready to change their bad habits as much as him.
