Episode Synopsis "#4 Mountain biking in the bush, mindfulness with mates"
Caught up with 3 mates experiencing post policing trauma, one has exited and the other two are still in the process. We hit the Nerang Mountain Bike Trails in Qld Australia today and it was awesome! The comradely, the exercise and the bush setting, was a great time for mateship, support and debriefing. If you are experiencing high stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD or other symptoms where you just feel shit, grab a bike and hit the path or bush. It is cathartic and great to challenge yourself while using that anger or stress as fuel for the ride.
