Episode Synopsis

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Sunday, March 2, 2025 Topic: YOU'RE NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT (Part 2)! Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭John 2:9‭-‬10 NKJV 9. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. 10. And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” INSPIRATION: In the game of chess, there's always a last card that a player draws against his opponents to cause an upset in the overall result, and which often helps them win the game. God pulled a fast one, a once-for-a-life-time technical knockout against Satan when he raised Jesus from the dead (1 Cor. 2:7‭-‬8). That masterstroke is still a mystery till date as it did not only shatter all Satan's plans and projection, but also reconciled man back to God and his original state. One of the hallmarks of Christ's death is bringing many sons into glory (Heb. 2:10). God cannot bring you into glory by Christ and you continue to wallow in shame, abject poverty and ignominy. He has made you sit together with him in heavenly places far above principalities and powers (Eph. 2:6; 1:21), and conferred on you the status of a Prince. He has made all things new and ushered you into a life of seamless possibilities, crowned with power and glory. As Christ is, so we have become so that we can share and manifest in the glory he has with the Father. Now is the time to walk on your high places, to live in splendour, to reign in power and victory. Now is the time to put satan under your feet where he rightfully belongs. God did not leave the final say or last laugh to your destiny in the hands of satan. You'll rise in glory, no matter your present storm. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Keep faith alive in the midst of very negative happenings. Look beyond your storm. Hold on to your beliefs and confession. The storm would pass. See your story turn; See your new and sweeter wine; See greater glory revealed. See! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please cause me to experience glory and beautiful endings henceforth. May the glory of my latter experiences be greater than anything I've ever been through, in Jesus name.
