Everyday, life throws at us the challenge of vision, and continues to question our ability to see. Interestingly but strangely ironical is the fact that one can have sight that see objects but lack vision that conceptualises ideas. In this instance, one is grossly deficient because it is ideas that rule the world. So God tells Abram, "For all the land which you see, to you will I give it...," thus, challenging him to see beyond the immediate. You may be in that space like Abram, where it appears all your efforts are not getting rewarded or being rewarded to others, can you see beyond the now? You may be trying to conceive but still nothing to show for all your efforts, can you look away from the obvious and 'see?' The doctor's report, notwithstanding, see yourself as fruitful and a joyful parent. You could be neckdeep in debt and your creditors are after you, relax and look again. As far as you can see, can be yours? You've got to see with the eyes of faith! You've got to expand your horizon, stretch the limit of your faith like a net and rake in some big catch. Faith sees beyond the obvious to acknowledge and embrace inexplicable possibilities. A rugged faith won't take a no for an answer or limit one's experience to one's expectations. When you see with the eyes of faith, Lot can't outsmart you; nothing can limit you or keep you stranded. What can you see, and how far is this vision of yours?
