Memory Verse: "‭Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, ..." - 2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV Bible Text: Matthew 6:10 KJV 10. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. INSPIRATION: John 5:19 offers us our take off point in today's devotional: "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." As an ambassador of God's kingdom, your job description and work ethics is centered around whatever you see the Father do. Jesus mirrors this example for us to follow in discharging our functions. Except you follow this template, you cannot fully claim to be representing the interest of God's kingdom. John records, "But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work" (John 5:17). Your ambassadorial mandate requires you to fall in line and do whatever you see the Father do. That's the template of the kingdom. No gimmicks, no playing smart. Anything aside the laid down template would be a misrepresentation and miscarriage of your mandate. This explains why many people start well but soon fall by the way side by doing things they didn't see God do. God's mandate is tied to certain standards that your level of innovative sophistication cannot and must not change, else it ceases to be the kingdom's mandate. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Enforcing the will of God's kingdom follows a divine pattern, which is to act as you see God act. He gives the assignment and defines the parameters of operation. Be sensitive to this and save yourself from undue pressure. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please guide me on how to follow the template that enables me operate according to the patterns and standards of the Kingdom. Open my eyes to see Your operations so I can replicate same here on earth, in Jesus name.
