Memory Verse: ‭‭"For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" - Philippians 1:21 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭2 Corinthians 4:8‭-‬9 NKJV 8. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— INSPIRATION: In the last two days, we've been discussing the manifestation of glory through disruptive tendency. Today, we'll deal with another variant of this topic. It must take someone with a lot of mental strength and deeply convincing resolve to be faced with so much pressure and yet not giving up or getting crushed. That's against the conventional practice, where people cave in to life's pressure. What was going on in the mind of Paul that he could be unsure of finding his way but still not discouraged. Today, we have a lot of believers without the required mental toughness to weather life's storm. Before the pressure mounts, they've given up or compromised. Whenever you compromise, you lose your glory. One way to demonstrate your disruptive skills is to cause a total turnaround of a negative situation; it is to make lemonade out of your lemon; it is your ability to see, explore and harness your roses in the midst of so many thorns; that is, your ability to turn your ashes into creative beauty. It is your ability to bounce back up after so many knockdowns. How do you face persecution with so much calmness and dogged determination? Paul slammed persecution and hardship in the face when he said, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phi. 1:21). In other words, my life matters nothing where the pursuit of God's plans is the goal. Oh! Where are the believers of this generation who are consumed by God's passion that they're willing to risk their lives for the glory of God's kingdom? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Do not fear when trouble arises. Confront them with superior wisdom. Unleash the God-like nature in you and offer disruptive solutions to difficult situations. Be a Holy Spirit filled, led and sensitive believer. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me understanding on how to offer disruptive solutions to life's challenges. Release and activate upon me the grace to offer uncommon solutions to negative situations and help me to stand out as I manifest God's glory, in Jesus name.
