Memory Verse: ‭‭"Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light" -  Genesis 1:3 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭Genesis 1:1‭-‬2 NKJV 1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. INSPIRATION: Have you ever stopped to look and wonder at a beautiful young plant sprouting between a cracked concrete floor? Most often, it is not its beauty that attracts your attention but the fact that it defied and disrupted convention to grow out of a well cemented concrete floor. In the next few days, we shall look at varying examples from the scriptures of instances where a drastic disruptive event occurred in order for glory to be made manifest. Firstly, we see God's disruptive force through the Holy Spirit brooding over creation and teaching darkness and formlessness a lesson. A disruptive operation from which God is manifest does not focus on the problems, no matter their sizes or colouration, but on a solution that shatters existing protocols. The Holy Spirit silenced the power of darkness and void when he created something out of nothing. We have been created to continue in this creative path, where you disrupt satanic and negative agenda while enforcing God's will. Joseph introduced a system of economic management to Pharaoh. He simply disrupted the old order and established the counsel of God. Then glory was manifest! You see, glory is not manifest only where and when power is displayed, but if that's the only way you can relate to the concept of glory, we shall see the disruptive manifestation of power through the ministry of Elijah and Jesus! Elijah called down fire and slaughtered the prophets of baal, and turned the heart of the nation back to God; Jesus, on the other hand, drove the traders in the temple away and upturned the tables of money exchangers. These acts were disruptive to the point their actions were noticed and glory was ascribed to God. Do you want to manifest glory? Get ready to proffer uncommon solutions to your world and stand out from the crowd. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Do not fear when trouble arises. Confront them with superior wisdom. Unleash the God-like nature in you and offer disruptive solutions to difficult situations. Be a Holy Spirit filled, led and sensitive believer. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me understanding on how to offer disruptive solutions to life's challenges. Release and activate upon me the grace to offer uncommon solutions to negative situations and help me to stand out as I manifest God's glory, in Jesus name.
