Memory Verse: ‭‭ "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him" - Genesis 26:12 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Genesis 26:18 NKJV 18. And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them. INSPIRATION: Now, let's zero this in on spiritual growth and manifestation. Wishes doesn't confer greatness on us. Anointing doesn't come by association, feeling or mere desire without committing to the spiritual protocol for one to be anointed. Afterall, though Saul prophesied amongst the sons of the prophets, the experience did not outlast that moment. Anyone who wants to walk in the miraculous must be willing to ascend the hills God (Ps. 24:3-4). Take a cue from when David was anointed king, all his elder brothers who appeared before the prophet Samuel were shocked that the oil did not flow on them. The anointing will not flow on you unless you fulfil the protocol of the Spirit to be anointed. Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because..." (Luke 4:18-19; Isa. 61:1-2). There is a "because" condition that you must of necessity meet if you must manifest the glory of God. Isaac sowed in the land. Are you putting in the work for your spiritual growth? Are you being intentional about the level of graces and manifestation you want to walk in or you give up too soon? How consciously are you determined to align in the Spirit to God's leading? Isaac dug again the wells of Abraham... Growth in the Spirit is not a one off exercise. You cannot relax or give space otherwise the cares of this life will choke and dry up the grounds you've gained already. Paul told Timothy to stir up the gift of God on his inside (2 Tim. 1:6). Rivers of water cannot flow out of your belly or heart (John 7:38) unless you consciously and deliberately stir up the anointing of God in your life. To be anointed, pay the price in study, searching, praying, fasting, consecration and every other spiritual discipline that you need to grow. One way that indicates you're growing is that you do not need to wait to be prophesied to. Rather, a Prophet will only confirm what God has been telling you (Isa. 44:26) whenever he or she comes your way. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Glory comes with a huge price. Pay for it now that you've all the time and strength. Sow massively and extensively to secure a glorious and enviable future. Partner with the Holy Spirit to show you the areas of your life to work on and invest in. PRAYER: Dear Lord, teach me how not to mortgage away my future while doing things that won't guarantee a good harvest for me. Make every effort I make to invest in my future yield a hundredfold glorious return, in Jesus name.
