Listen "Expressions of Glory (Part 2)!"

Episode Synopsis

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Friday, January 3, 2025 Topic: EXPRESSIONS OF GLORY (Part 2)! Bible Text: Matthew 13:55-56 NKJV 55. Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? 56. And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” INSPIRATION: You can express God's glory through deliberately calculated positive actions rather than through  platitudes of inaction. The gifts, skills, and talents you fail to give expressions to won't suddenly develop themselves to put you on a central global stage. Except there's a deliberate effort to express your creative ingenuity, the 'milk' will not come out and the 'dream' (baby) will not be nurtured. He who grinds hard on the mill gathers a bountiful harvest that the indolent only wish for. Have much more than wishes this year! Some practical ways to help you give proof of expression to your gifts include but not limited to the following: do not buy liability in place of investing in assets; avoid the pain of limiting yourself to short-term plan when you could think on a long-term basis; invest time to learn something of value rather than using the same amount of time to scroll through social media; trends are unending and dynamic, learn lasting skills instead of rolling with trends; take positive and pragmatic actions rather than make excuses. Others are being intentional with building values that could generate wealth instead wasting time trying to look rich; prioritise where or what you spend money, time and resources on; be versatile and create room for growth as you try new things; do not be afraid to take risks, be daring or be ready to miss big opportunities; develop a plan of disciplined saving culture. Money, time and resources will always be limited, but a disciplined saving culture saves the raining day; focus on your developmental strides instead of wallowing in rivalry comparison. Jesus was abreast with the happenings in his environment but he was way ahead of them in reasoning and action. His words were always indicting to the philosophers of his time. He saw tomorrow and planned for it. Those who see and think ahead of their peers beat the systems to emerge champions. Whenever the champions in Jesus surfaced, it left his observers dazed with u resolved puzzle. You've no idea how far you could go with disciplining yourself to follow a path your peers and everyone else is unwilling to travel to be different! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Dare to give wings to your creative instinct in all its infinite varieties. The world awaits your manifestation of glory (Romans 8: 19)! PRAYER: Oh Lord, I receive grace for new expressions and manifestation to the gifts and deposits of talents and godly wisdom I've been blessed with. New ideas flow out of me that solves humanity's problems. I'm not limited in scope or boxed in. My gifts find expressions relevant to the needs of society and I impact grace everywhere, in Jesus name.
