Listen "Exploring The Power of Prayers (Part 3)!"

Episode Synopsis

Prayer is a tool or vehicle used in ministering to God (Acts 13: 2). To minister is to offer worship. Most times, we do not realise our primary assignment is to offer worship to God. So we get caught up in other things while laying aside that which is needful (Luke 10: 40 - 41). I always like to ask, "If God were to depend solely on you to get His 'required dosage' of Worship daily, would He be getting enough?" What is the quality of worship in your prayer? Does it even scratch the heart of God? Think about this critically. Prayer portrays our dependence on God and asking Him to cater to our every need. Your dependency and subsequent asking are acts of worship. Understanding this, you should approach prayer differently henceforth. Even Jesus taught His disciples thus, "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name" (Matt. 6:9 KJV). The Passion Translation gives clarity to the theme of worship: "Pray like this: ‘Our Beloved Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn" (Matt 6:9 TPT).
