Memory Verse: ‭‭ "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." - Acts 10:38 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ Luke 4:18‭-‬19 NKJV 19. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. INSPIRATION: Today, another phrase catches our attention from our Bible text: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, ...HE HAS SENT ME TO..." You cannot be anointed and not sent on an assignment. The assignment is what guarantees the release of the anointing. As a result, you must consciously ask yourself questions like, *"What's my assignment? What am I sent to do? Who am I sent to"?* Your message is encoded in your assignment and the anointing is the proof of your authenticity. Paul argues, "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? *And how shall they preach unless they are sent?* ..." (Rom 10:14‭-‬15). What are you sent here to do? When believers ponder critically on this, their perception of service in the kingdom changes and aligns with God's mandate for their lives. When this consciousness becomes overwhelmingly burning in the hearts and spirits of believers, the anointing flows naturally with attendant miracles following. It's at this point you begin to witness signs and wonders. Naturally, the anointing flows ceaselessly when you operate within the parameters of your calling and ministering to those whom you're sent to. When you operate from this zone, there's no mountain or demon that can stand before you. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Do a deep, conscious search to know those you're sent to and your assignment. Do you know the nature of your message and medium of transmission? If not, find out. You can never make any lastlong meaningful impact outside the Holy Spirit. Get Him involved. PRAYER: Dear Lord, may the oil upon my life be expressly active to bless whenever I'm in the midst of those you've sent me to. May the grace behind my calling find the utmost expression and impact amongst those I'm anointed and sent to, in Jesus name.
