Memory Verse: ‭‭ "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." - Acts 10:38 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭ Luke 4:18‭-‬19 NKJV 19. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. INSPIRATION: The bible says, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover" (Mark 16:17‭-‬18). Miracles are the identity of believers but to gloriously manifest the miraculous, the Spirit of the Lord must be upon you. This is the key that opens the door to the manifestation of diverse kinds of glorious acts. The anointing of the Holy Spirit upon us is the difference-maker. In Jesus's case, the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him because of the anointing to work the miraculous. The anointing upon our lives is not for show or bragging rights; it is to do the will of God and enforce His kingdom upon the earth; it is to establish the dominion of Christ in the affairs of men. Jesus went about doing good and healing the oppressed. When the Spirit of God comes upon you, the offshoot is the manifestation of miracles. Where we do not see such manifestation, we should worry or maybe query the source of your anointing and what such anointing was meant for. Learn from the example of Jesus, who expressly begun to manifest glory and impacting lives the moment the Spirit of God came upon him. You too can be the difference-maker in your world because of the anointing. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Grow in your intimacy and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Manifest the graces of God upon your life. Live a life that impacts others. Find alignment and partnership with the Holy Spirit. Let the oil find a channel to flow through. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please anoint me again with fresh oil so that I can gloriously manifestat results. Cause your Holy Spirit to come upon me with more anointing and fire to effectively impact my world for Christ, in Jesus name.
