In spiritual dimensions, not every door is an access or portal for your next big leap. Apostle Paul makes a very profound statement, "For a great and effective door has opened to me, ..." (1 Cor 16:9‬), that we need to interrogate. Firstly, not every door that opens to us is a great door! It is not everything that seems like a breakthrough that is God's design, neither is it every door that opens us up to chaos that is sponsored by demonic attack. Some doors open you up to opportunities, others open up up to further challenges. Some doors are gateways into other ways, one way leading into another. Some lead to a happy ending, others into unimaginable affliction. Yet, all are doors. Some doors are portals; they open you up to realms beyond this plain! Jacob stood before such a portal with angelic traffic between heaven and earth. He called it the house of God and the gate of heaven (Gen. 28: 17). There're realms beyond the natural you need to journey into, and dimensions that you need to ascend into that may never open up to you unless you access those portals. Paul says, "I know a man in Christ ...—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven.... how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter" (2 Cor. 12:2‭-‬4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
