Stress not only affects your mental health, but also your physical health in so many ways. You can feel more drained, less lively, more on edge and les focused.
When I'm stressed, I have a greater tendency to reach for things to help me feel better. In the past I used food to comfort me in times of stress, or emotional overload. I would eat, and then eat more because the food would only satisfy me for moments.
What I've learned. is that in the end I always felt worse then when I started. The food did nothing to help me feel better because I wasn't actually hungry and just using it for temporary relief.
In this episode I dive into ways in which I manage my stress now and give you some ideas of how to notice and pivot if you're feeling this way too!
