For our second episode of Work & Progress, we sit down with Ty James, owner of the Exchange Street Station Lounge. Get to know the man behind the bar, how he redid the entire space, his eye for beautiful things, his love for Chicopee, and more. Exchange Street Station Lounge is a beautiful underground bar in the center of Chicopee. Before COVID-19, Ty used his space for art galleries, private parties, community gatherings, and other events. Our hope is that once we hit phase 4, Ty will once again be able to open and provide a fun space for the community.
