Episode Synopsis "Tachycardias - Pitfalls in management of the fast and unstable"
Unstable tachycardias represent a special set of problems for EMS. Pitfalls include differentiating primary cardiac issues from mimics such as sepsis and use of antidysrhythmics such as amiodarone. We also talk about calling a STEMI in the field, bigeminy and there's a bonus rant about EKG telemetry that degenerates into talking about the 70s TV show EMERGENCY! which, to be honest, isn't uncommon around here. So enjoy! And be safe out there.
