The school of life is a journey, a process, a very personal one. Sometimes, if we have the courage to share with someone something we've learned in hopes that it might offer encouragement, compassion, and maybe even inspire a spark of hope, and the love of life in someone else, then it's worth opening oneself to others who might impose scrutiny, criticism, rejection, resentment, or judgement.
Years ago, my son, who was just fifteen years young, once said, "All that really matters.....is love."
