Episode Synopsis "Episode 1 [En] - Terence Leong 梁永泰 - The Hit Maker of Mandarin Pop Songs"

The humble magician, the man behind the scene making hit mandarin pop. For a good half of 2018, you may have heard the song 買榜 by Julia Wu ft. RGRY in your neighbor hipster shops in Taipei. If you’ve been following Mandarin pop songs for a while, you may also be familiar with the song 愛你 AINI by Kimberley Chen 陳芳語. Both of these songs catapulted the artists to rise up to the top music charts within a short amount of time, and the man behind the scene is my guest Terence Leong. As a producer, Terence has been delivering banger after banger. Always on point and you can always count on his tracks to be listen-worthy.He’s worked with leading artists, from Wang Lee Hom, Vanness Wu, Yoga Lin, Jolin Tsai, and constantly breaking out new artists. You’ll see Terence's name appear on numerous OST soundtracks, such as Tiny Times 小時代, Cafe Waiting Love 等一個人咖啡. With all that he’s done, I have the utmost respect for Terry not because of the work he’s produced, but his spirit to always stay hungry and never succumbing to fame or success. He thinks about how to outgrow himself every single day, and constantly redefining the sonic landscape of Asian music.
