Episode Synopsis "Welcome to The Lessons We Learn!"
As the host of this podcast, I want to explore various topics in a practical manner and in a way that is not so weighty. We have enough tension and contention in the world. As we take time each Wednesday on topics such as race, education, faith and the workplace, let's do so with the intention to listen to each other, to care about each other, to be encouraged and find a reason to smile. This Podcast is presented by Knowledge Font, LLC, a provider of educational services for adults and youth. Take a workshop or request a training on these or other topics of interest for your staff or organization. Visit https://tinyurl.com/TheLessonsWeLearnWorkshop for more information. To share your experience with these topics, send a message to [email protected]. Podcast host: Glad you are here! I'm Chana Hawkins, an educator with experience teaching in preK-12 school, university and community settings. Her approach to learning is to listen, pay attention to who she is teaching and find the best way to bring that person to see how they learn best. I am also a mother and minister, a teacher in the Christian faith, and this has informed my perspective particularly when it comes to how people should be treated--for me, that is out of love.
