This episode, we're talking about the reality of the competitive market, based on our experience. For a long time we've been told that we have to study our competitors and make sure we're not falling behind the curve. There's the sense of measuring your companies success based on other companies in your profession. Also, a perception that in order to be competitive in the marketplace, you have to strategically do better than those other companies so that you can steal their clients away from them.  In our experience, this has never been the case. We've studied our so called "competitors" not to steal clientele but to understand what clients look for and what they value. In these days, the competitors even let you know what they're doing to be successful so that you can learn and grow in your business. With the competitive market, it may not be as competitive as we were taught.
