Episode Synopsis "Dialogue #10 - w/ Bro. David Baker - Soteriology (Part 2) - Water Baptism"

Today’s dialogue is the 2nd of a two-part series focusing on Soteriology specifically concerning the role of water baptism. In the 1st episode, I interviewed Todd Clippard. Brother Todd believes that water baptism is a mandatory condition for salvation and the forgiveness of sins and that without water baptism one cannot receive eternal life. In today’s episode, I will be interviewing David Baker. Brother Baker affirms that faith in the gospel is all that is required to receive the free gift of eternal life and the forgiveness of sin, therefore, he concludes that water baptism has absolutely nothing to do with salvation or eternal life. So…Does water baptism wash away our sins? Let’s talk about it.
