This week, host Eleni, will continue our 3 part series on promised brides based off of the book by Panayota Nazou, ‘Promised Brides,’ who will be joined by guests, Olympia Nelson and Liannah Diacaris. In part 2, we are looking at our own family’s migrant stories and the events that occurred for our grandparents to meet and marry and we will also touch on some of the testimonies within the book itself.. We will touch on the importance of Oral History and the role of women’s voices throughout history and within the discipline itself.
