Here are some updates in Income Tax Act :
1. Notification no. 32/2020 income tax - Notifies cost inflation index for FY 2020-2021
2. Notification no. 35/2020 income tax* - Extension of various due date.
*Please Note : This amendment has not been covered under podcast..
--The reduced rate of interest of 9% for delayed payments of taxes, levies etc. specified in the Ordinance shall not be applicable for the payments made after 30th June, 2020. So, please take this into consideration.
-- Also please note that in podcast I have mentioned Chapter VI B, which actually is Chapter VI A -B.
