I go over my method for constructing a loose outline, and demonstrate with a little story ab lib. Not saying this is the only way to do it, but I find it very handy.



What do you like in a movie? That's your game.
What is a world you enjoy? That's your play space.

How does the game change your character? Thats the difference between the first and second half.
What are two opposite aspects of the play space? That's the difference between Act 2 and the others.

Normal world, unchanged (Act 1). Play space world, unchanged (Act 2a). A Key event like a victory or major loss of the game (Turn). Play space world, changing (Act 2b). Normal world, changed (Act 3).
