Snow flaking is when you take the individual sentences of your small outline, and form 5 point (well not necessarily 5, just more) out of them.

So relatively quickly you can turn 5 points into 21-25 points (depending on whether you expand the midpoint turn). I like this step because it basically presents you with your chapters as each of those individual points account for approx 2000-2500 words.

For the rest of the month I'll basically just be doing this snow-flaking over and over, turning each of these chapter points into 25 point outlines.

I'm actually pretty tempted to do this werewolf story instead of the one I actually planned.
