Listen "Building Faith Conversations at Home"
Episode Synopsis
Every home carries a culture—some homes are filled with noise, others with busyness, and others with silence. But God calls our homes to be filled with faith conversations—moments where Jesus is naturally woven into everyday life. In Deuteronomy 6, God commanded His people to talk about His Word “when you sit at home, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.” This wasn’t meant to be a rigid routine but a lifestyle. And we see this same heart in Joshua, who boldly declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua understood that serving God wasn’t just about battles and victories—it was about shaping a family that lived in constant awareness of God’s presence. Think of Mary and Joseph raising Jesus. They spoke Scripture, prayed together, travelled for feasts, and created a home where God was central. Even the young Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature” in such an environment. Faith conversations build spiritually strong families. They show children that God is not distant—He is involved in every decision, joy, challenge, and dream.
