Listen "Modelling Godliness Before Children"
Episode Synopsis
Reflection Children may not always do what we say, but they almost always imitate what we do. Modeling godliness before them is one of the greatest ministries we can offer as parents, mentors, and believers. In Titus 2, Paul paints a beautiful picture of generational discipleship—older believers guiding the younger through example and wisdom. This principle applies powerfully in the home. When children see parents praying, forgiving, serving, and walking in integrity, they receive living lessons on what it means to follow Christ. Think of Lois and Eunice, Timothy’s grandmother and mother (2 Timothy 1:5). Their sincere faith became the soil from which Timothy’s ministry grew. They didn’t just teach him about God—they modeled faith in daily life. That quiet consistency produced a world-changing disciple. In a world where many voices compete for our children’s attention, the example of godly living speaks the loudest. Modeling godliness isn’t about perfection; it’s about authenticity—owning our mistakes, extending grace, and pointing back to Christ.
