Throughout this series we will be taking a deep dive into the world that is Israeli politics in the lead up to the elections in March. That election will be Israel’s fourth in 2 years. Our mission is to try and explain the complicated world of Israeli democracy. This episode we will be looking into the rebirth of the Israeli Labour Party...With us today are our regular guests Carine and Dovi, Jewish Agency Shlichim to UJS and our special guest, Peter Lerner. Peter served 25 years as a spokesperson in the IDF and is now the Director General of the International Relations Division at Histadrut, General Organization of Workers in Israel the organisation which represents the majority of Israel's trade unionists.
