I spoke with Phil a week or so after the Toronto Raptors won their historic NBA championship. Phil began his career as a player and I first met him in 1999 when he played for my hometown team the Manchester Giants. The coach that year was non other than Nick Nurse. Hear Phils story of how he ended up in the UK and met Nick. Hear his story as a player through to becoming one of the most respected coaches and trainer in the NBA.
