Welcome to Our Generation for Inclusive Peace (OGIP), a youth-led research and advocacy initiative grounded in feminist approaches that aims to diversify the voices shaping Peace and Security policy and practice. This episode is a live recording of the OGIP Launch event held at the LSE on the 12th of February 2020. The event brought together practitioners, youth advocates and OGIP contributors to discuss emerging issues in Peace and Security Policy and Practice. Katrina from the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders and Alia an Egyptian Women Rights & Gender Advocate shared their practical experiences and insights on topics related to Peace and Security and the implementation of policy in practice. Some of the issues covered include, how to create a truly feminist organisations, the intersection between Youth, Peace and Security and the Women, Peace and Security agenda, and what diverse engagement looks like in peace and security.
