Today is World Day of Bully Prevention, and the entire month of October is Bully prevention month. On this podcast episode, we discuss Bullying, Social Injustice and how it impacts our society. We highlight the unfortunate incident involving the demise of popular Nigerian artiste "Mohbad" whose former record label bullied, harrassed and taunted, leading to several depressive episodes and allegedly, his untimely passing. Bullying is an abhorrent societal issue that needs our collective effort to combat/put an end to. Bullying can leave both physical and emotional scars on its victims and perpetuates a cycle of toxicity. From the bible, we saw how Jesus stood against bullies (the Pharisees laying weights/burdens on the people), we see how activists like Dr Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, etc fought against injustice and the "bullies" of the day. Today, It is our responsibility to do same by lending our voices, financial support, time, resources, etc to end this vicious cycle of bullying and social injustice. Hope you enjoy this episode.
