Memory Verse: ‭‭"But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!” - Acts 5:22‭-‬23 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭Acts 5:18‭-‬20 NKJV 18. And laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. 19. But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20. “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” INSPIRATION: The manifestation of God's glory happens however He pleases, and the sole purpose is either to drive a divine agenda or to glorify/reveal the person of Jesus. One thing we must know is that we can never fit God into our stereotypes of what and how we expect him to act. He knows the best route to take to bring about his manifest glory. In our scriptures scriptures, God's approach was through persecution of the church. Whilst we may pray against attacks and persecution, they're often God's ordained vehicle to revealing his power. Abraham's years of waiting for the birth of Isaac, Joseph's experience with his brothers and in slavery, Israel's ordeal in Egypt and through the wilderness, Goliath's threat and David's triumph, the betrayal and death of Jesus, etc, are unpleasant experiences to have if you lived in their moments, but God used each one to manifest His glory, leaving no traces for anyone to doubt He was involved. Two scriptures come to mind readily that explains and reveals God's glory in these acts: But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive" (Genesis 50:20), Joseph said. The second is, "Which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:8). The crucifixion of Jesus raised many sons into glory which Satan didn't see coming. That your bad experience will work out God's glory too. "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Cor 4: 17‭-‬18). May God open your eyes to see your glory in your pains. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Pray to experience the Supernatural moves of God. Be sensitive to the different manifestions and visitations you'll see. Trust God for a way of escape even in the most hopeless situation. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please deliver me from every scheme of hell to cut short my destiny. Make me to experience strange acts of glory manifestation in my life this season that will leave the world in awe of Your mighty powers, in Jesus name.
