Memory Verse: "But the moment one turns to the Lord with an open heart, the veil is lifted and they see" - 2 Corinthians 3:16 TPT Bible Text: Isaiah 25:7 AMP 7. And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is [cast] over all peoples, and the veil [of death] that is woven and spread over all the nations. INSPIRATION: When you're obscured, a shadow of darkness is cast over you that makes you easily unrecognisable and forgettable. You may put in all the effort but get no recognition or reward. Rather, what's due you could be passed over to someone else who didn't labour for it or deserve it. Mordecai comes to mind here. The reward for his diligence in the Palace passed over to Herman, an enemy of the Jews. Call it manipulation or whatever, it still points us to the fact that Mordecai was obscured. In our workplaces, we see this occur always - someone works so hard but others get rewarded with promotion and recognition. But a day came, Mordecai was remembered! The covering cast had been shattered and enough light could penetrate and beam in his direction. When you generate enough light, all eyes would be on you, your level of visibility would increase, so would your impact. Light reveals what's been hidden over time; it unveils your hidden treasures, talents and potentials. Light doesn't only expose you to your inherent possibilities but also exposes you to people destined to help you achieve and become more. Until light exposed Mordecai, he didn't get his well-deserved recognition. Light here, could be literal or figurative. Only those with sinister intent walk in the dark. You're a citizen of light. Turn on the floodlights of inspiration on your path so the world can recognise you. Flip the switch on now! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: It doesn't matter how long you've been hidden from relevance and limelight, once you generate enough light wetin, the dark clouds would give way to your rising. Stir up some light and turn on the switch to a bright, impactful lifestyle. PRAYER: O Lord, please expose me to the true light of Your Word that drives out every darkness covering my destiny and blocking my glory, in Jesus name.
