Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: INSPIRATION: In a relay race competition, the one who begins and the one who ends the race for their team are the very most important in the team. They determine the outcome and overall performance of their team. Their inability to deliver means failure for their team. Life is all about our ability to make the crucial difference when and where it matters most. If you get lost in the crowd, you join the bandwagon team or effect of no future ambition. Making a difference can be both positively and negatively, hence, the need to be extremely cautious. Adam made a very costly negative difference that put all of humanity in chaos and jeopardy, but it was a difference nonetheless. Jesus, on the other hand made a choice that became the ultimate difference that rescued mankind from a lost eternity. His difference paid for the indiscretion of Adam and reconciled us back to God. When making a difference, we must weigh both its short and long term implications and its overriding impact and not throw caution to the wind. Consider that a decision is like an earth tremor with far reaching consequences with ripple effect that can be catastrophic if not thoroughly considered. Ezekiel says, "I sought for a man. Nature will always create a vacuum where a man is sought. Be the man with the right credentials that gets the job done. Don't be bogus on your resumè but empty on your delivery; don't be all talk with no corresponding action. Don't be the one that ruins the party for all others when nature demand your attention. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Life is all about one person who chooses to make a difference. Don't capitulate when the batton is passed over to you. Leave a mark of positive difference. Write you name with gold in the memories of men. Make history; don't be history! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please make me an agent of positive transformation, a daring catalyst of positive change. In a world in dire need of leaders, make me a difference maker that prioritises the good of others to self-serving agenda. May my life be an offering to the wellbeing of society as I strive to bring You glory, in Jesus name.
