Welcome to our practice today: A Meditation to be present with our Emotions
This short guided meditation invites us to come back to a safe space within our body.
We focus on the breath to slow down and relax and then bring our awareness to the emotion that is being presented to us at the moment. At times we are faced with emotions that are too much to handle and very often we try everything possible to escape from them. Pain and uncomfortable feelings and emotions are our way forward.
These unpleasant emotions will push us down to the very bottom, will bring us back to our knees and as we surrender we rise up again. It just takes time and there is no shortcut..
This meditation invites us to sit with whatever is arising for us at the moment, whether the emotion is pleasant or unpleasant. When we sit with our emotions we are able to open ourselves to life itself.
Practice this meditation as often as you need.
