Dinah & Stella No One’s Safe Saturdays @5:30 PM on Fox News 'ABQ.FM' - 93.7 FM/AM 1600 KIVA About the singer/songwriter  Michael "Miguelito" Romero born in Albuquerque, NM. January 30th 1958. Since very early Miguelito has always loved music. His oldest brother of ten Seferino Romero, would put him between his legs when playing the guitar, and taught him all he knew. His first song ever learned was Gabino Barrera a Mexican corrido. From there he learned his first instrument, the guitar. When he turned 7, his father Leandro Romero would take him from bar to bar, where he would sing, then pass a sombrero around and gathering nickles, dimes, and quarters, and every once in awhile a dollar or two. At the end of the shift, he'd pick up $20-$30. But Miguelito was getting more recognition and became part of the Val de la O show. A local artist talent show aired on NBC local CHANNEL 4 KOB-TV. There's where he got his stage name use till this very day Miguelito Romero. In 1965 at 7 years old he recorded his very first 45 rpm single "El Mal Estrella" y "Lloraras, Lloraras", under the Conquistador Record Label with the talented Pedro Sepulveda y Mariachi Gala. In 1970 while visiting his brother's house in Las Vegas, Nevada, his brother Eddie Romero bought Miguelito his first accordion at a local pawn shop. Which serves as his trademark instrument.  Miguelito is one of the best accordionists of his time. Miguelito was also inducted to The Smithsonian Institute of US history for his collaboration of The 911 New York Attacks and his Corrido "America Bajo Ataque". He has written over 62 original songs. In 2019 he broke the Guinness Book of World Record for recording in 1 year and completed 365 song recordings, the record totals 301 songs. His Facebook page and over 10,000 friends were his witnesses while publicizing every one of his recordings at his personal recording studio TRIPLE M RECORDS (Miguelitos Music Machine). Today he is recording music and has worked along with some great artists. Such as Antonio Aguilar, Cornelio Reyna, Lorenzo De Monteclaro. Other local New Mexico artists such as Al Hurricane, Tiny Morrie, Lorenzo Antonio, and Sparx just to name a few. Miguelito is a proud New Mexican who loves his State of New Mexico, his beloved Albuquerque and especially his childhood barrio The South Valley Amigo.
